YOU WANT TO SEE THIS BONES BEARINGS VIDEO

There are a lot of superstitions about what you should do the first day of a new year to ensure good luck. Clearly we all screwed that up in 2020. Maybe the way to secure a great year is to spend New Year’s Day watching a roller skating video. OK, maybe this is just an excuse for us to try and justify showing a non-skateboarding video. However, it comes to us from legendary skateboarding hard goods company Bones Bearings, and also it totally rules.

Michelle Steilen’s Roller Bones video just straight-up kicks major ass. She’s worked as a stunt double in Hollywood, including doubling for Margot Robbie in Birds of Prey. Also, the things she can do on roller skates is totally nuts. Seriously, we don’t want to spoil how awesome this video is. Steilen also hits up a skatepark in the video, which almost keeps this skateboarding-adjacent. Also, in a way, aren’t roller skates just tiny skateboards for your feet? Again, this is a stretch, but we don’t care. Once you watch Steilen in action, you won’t care either.
